Public Use & Affordability
As part of the lease requirements, the Mariners make T-Mobile Park available for community use and in support of neighborhood activities. More than 500 non-baseball events are held at T-Mobile Park in a typical year. These events include other sports, meetings, trade shows, auctions, weddings, graduations, picnics, and holiday parties. You can book your event on the Mariners’ website.
Baseball is America’s pastime and great family entertainment, and the lease requires that there should be plenty of tickets available at prices average families can afford. Specifically, at least five percent of the seats at T-Mobile Park must be available at a price no greater than half of the average price of ticket sold during the previous baseball season. Also at least 30 percent of seats must be available on a per-game basis and not tied to a season ticket plan.
In addition, many games each year are “value game” promotions with special discounts on certain seats. The Mariners also offer discounted admission to seniors, military, and first responders. Mariners Kids Club members get super discounts, too.
